Come mid-January 2022, the world of high end tuning will just a little bit sweeter with the introduction of the ABT RS6-S and RSQ8-S.
managing partner Hans-Jürgen Abt ezplains, “Both score points with spectacular carbon add-on parts, striking alloy wheels, perfectly balanced suspensions and performance enhancements on a super sports car level.”
Powered by the well-known 4,0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, both models are available with 515 kW and 880 Nm. Should that still not be sufficient, a further increase to 544 kW and 920 Nm is available, too.
In addition to the powertrain upgrades, however, ABT also provide an array of aerodynamics parts, all fashioned from carbon fibre. The aerodynamics kits consist of a striking front lip with the respective model’s name, as well as side skirts and front and rear skirts and blades. The rear is finished off with a two-part spoiler, as well as the ABT stainless steel exhaust system with its four 102 mm tailpipes.
ABT Level Control comes as standard in the RSQ8-S, lowering the ride height by 15mm in Dynamic mode. For the RS6-S, height adjustable suspension springs are added for variable lowering of up to 25 mm at the front and 30 mm at the rear axle. 22-inch ABT High Performance HR rims fill the wheel arches of the RS6-S while the RSQ8-S benefits from the same rims, albeit 23-inchers, at all four corners.
For both models, the above items are available as a package, starting at €42 000 (R745 000) excluding installation.
