The G-Wagon is already an assault on the eyes as a brute of power and rugged appeal, but if that isn’t enough, buyers of the latest W465-generation G-Wagon can pimp theirs out with even more aggressive style.

Known for modifying high-end vehicles, UK-based tuner Urban Automotive is now offering the Widetrack and Aero Kit for the W465 G-Wagon. The Widetrack is the more dramatic of the two since it adds voluminous width and visual aggression with over 40 carbon fibre parts developed in-house. The upgrades include wider arches, a new front bumper with mesh inserts, a carbon splitter, and a vented bonnet that wears Urban’s badge. A carbon light bar on the roof and a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser and tow cover help round out the changes. It rides on flat-faced 23-inch UV-7 alloy wheels made for Urban by Vossen in Miami.
Urban says the kit follows its “OEM Plus” approach — tweaking the original look without going too far off-script. The result is a G-Wagon that looks even more muscular without losing its familiar shape.
If that’s a bit much, the Aero Kit tones things down. It doesn’t widen the body and sticks closer to the factory look. Still, it includes the same vented bonnet and carbon roof light cluster as the Widetrack, along with a rear spoiler and Urban-branded spare wheel cover. Buyers can add smaller carbon fibre parts like bumper trims, mirror caps and overriders if they want more flair.

Both kits are built from carbon fibre and made entirely at Urban’s facility in Milton Keynes. The company says this hands-on approach improves quality, fitment, and helps with weight reduction, though it’s fair to assume most buyers are more interested in looks than fuel savings. Urban also claims that G-Wagons fitted with its kits tend to fetch stronger resale values.
The packages are compatible with all W465 internal combustion models, including the G63, G500, and G450d. Pricing isn’t available but don’t expect it to come cheap…
