The Apocalypse Juggernaut is an American 6X6 that looks like it has been taken straight out of the Mad Max set. Underneath the gargantuan behemoth is a Ram TRX which puts out a healthy 634 kW or enough to tow just under 10 tons.
It’s written in the name; Apocalypse. The company that makes ludicrous 6 wheeled machines that look like they are ready to tackle doomsday. This then, isn’t their first rodeo but rather an addition to their portfolio which includes a Jeep and Ford Bronco derivative.
But this may be one of the most over-the-top derivatives which have come out of their factory. The Ram TRX based Apocalypse Juggernaut is aptly named since it looks capable of taking on anything which crosses its path with a spurt of fury.
Propelling this monster along is a 6,2-litre supercharged Hellcat V8 which is good for 634 kW and a towing capacity of up to 20 000 pounds (just over 9 tons). This power is transferred to the full-time six-wheel-drive system that also comes with locking differentials. 22-inch rims sit on 40-inch tyres which help give the Apocalypse Juggernaut its ominous road presence. A selection of drive modes can be selected by the driver, with one even equipping the machine for drag racing.
Joseph Ghattas, the owner and all around brainchild of the automotive tuner states: “”This one-of-a-kind creation is essentially a compilation of our greatest builds, truly borrowing the best aspects and features previously highlighted in our 180 6x6s currently on the road.”
On the outside, the original Ram TRX has been fully overhauled with a completely new front fascia. The front and rear fenders have been obscenely widened and flared for wheel travel and atop the roof sits an integrated LED bar. This may be even less aerodynamic than a brick which is a bulk item that can be transported in the sizable cargo bay which has a power-operated and lockable weatherproof cover.
The interior has also been tweaked with a 12-inch infotainment system wired up to a Harman Kardon sound system. Pricing on the latest Florida creation starts at $299 900.
