In order to maximise the appeal of its exotic four-door saloon in the Japanese market, this BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe Collector’s Edition has been revealed with a number of unique styling trims. The brand says the car will only be available for the next two months.
Based on the 840i M Sport, the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe Collector’s Edition can be finished in four individual colours that have been inspired by the sophisticated aesthetics of Japan. They include Tanzanite Blue, Drabite Gray, Aventurine Red or, for an additional cost, Azlight Black. The bold paint is complemented by a set of 729M design bicolor 20-inch M light alloy wheels and the chrome line exterior.
Within the cabin, BMW has used ivory white leather with Alcantara roof lining to contrast the interior shades. M sport seats are standard fit in the cabin as well.
For this exclusive product, which the brand hopes to be added to personal art collections by its highly aesthetic users, BMW has attached a price of ¥15 110 000 (just over R2 million).
