BMW driver arrested for speeding at 198 km/h on the N14 in Gauteng…

Gauteng traffic police say they have arrested the driver of a BMW 3 Series reportedly clocked speeding at 198 km/h on the N14.

The province’s traffic cops say the 37-year-old driver was nabbed doing almost double the speed limit in a 100 km/h zone of the N14 in Gauteng.

The driver of the F30-generation sedan is facing charges of reckless driving and exceeding the speed limit.

Separately, officials say they arrested a 27-year-old driver for reportedly hitting 170 km/h on the N1 near Randburg.
