As previously reported, the all-new BMW i5 comes in two enticing variants, the high-performance BMW i5 M60 xDrive and the BMW i5 eDrive40. The i5 M60 xDrive boasts an output of up to 442 kW, while the BMW i5 eDrive40 offers rear-wheel drive and a maximum output of 250 kW. Both versions share the advantages of a space-efficient high-voltage battery, adaptive recuperation, and intelligent heat pump technology, all of which contribute to what is believed to be exceptional range and efficiency.
The introduction of this model coincides with the launch of a brand-new generation of petrol and diesel-powered 5-series models, providing BMW aficionados with a new electric option within the mid-size sedan range.
