The BMW M340i xDrive has been handed an increase in power, new suspension, fresh wheels and some styling tweaks by tuner dÄHLer.
Thanks to dÄHLer’s power boost level two package, the M340i’s twin-scroll turbocharged 3,0-litre inline six engine has its standard peak outputs of 275 kW and 500 N.m of torque bumped up to 334 kW and 640 N.m. Power boost level one, meanwhile, offers 320 kW and 610 N.m.
A stainless-steel exhaust system has also been added, and can on request be rounded off with four ceramic-coated 90 mm tailpipes, a flap-control system and an Eventuri intake system.
For improved dynamics and a more menacing stance, a coilover suspension with height and stiffness adjustment can be specified. This works in conjunction with the M340i’s electronic damping system. A “DDC” plug-and-play system, which will allow owners to further personalise the damping system, is currently in development.
There’s also a set of 20-inch CDC1 forged alloy wheels, which the Swiss tuner says are 30-35 percent lighter than conventional items. These are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres to maximise performance.
Further styling alterations include a PU-RIM front splitter, M-style mirror caps, a carbon-fibre boot spoiler and roof antenna cover, and the choice of three custom grille designs.
