Now that BMW has officially unwrapped its 8 Series Gran Coupé, a digital artist from Russia has rendered the inevitable M-badged flagship.
Interestingly, artist Aksyonov Nikita has dreamt up two versions of the upcoming M8 Gran Coupe: one in standard form and the second in “Carbon Edition” trim, complete with a handful of added M Performance bits and pieces.
Nikita effectively fused together elements of the existing M8 coupé and the recently revealed 8 Series Gran Coupé to create the realistic renderings.
The production model (no doubt drawing inspiration from the Concept M8 Gran Coupé unveiled at Geneva in March 2018) is expected to break cover towards the end of 2019, with the Munich-based firm likely to offer it in both standard guise and Competition flavour.
As with the M8 coupé, expect power to come from BMW’s latest twin-turbo 4,4-litre V8, developing 441 kW in the case of the standard model and 460 kW in the Competition variant (and 750 N.m in both cases).
