Ahead of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, BMW has revealed a host of new M Performance Parts.
At the show, the Munich-based automaker will display a new M Performance rear wing – fashioned entirely from carbon-fibre – conceived for the M3, complete with racing stripes on the base. BMW says it expects to add this wing to its catalogue towards the middle of 2017.
New M Performance Parts sports suspension for the BMW M3 and M4, which allows the driver to lower the vehicle’s ride height between 5 and 20 mm via the adjustable spring plate, will also be on display in Las Vegas, complete with contrasting red coil springs.
Fresh light alloy wheels will also be in attendance, with BMW claiming these were “derived directly from motor racing”. The M Performance wheels are milled and weight-optimised from a forged blank, and BMW says they contribute to “even better steering behaviour”. The new wheels are expected be available for the M2, M3 and M4 at some stage next year.
A number of other M Performance packages will also be shown off.
Vehicles on display at the show will include the M2 Safety Car, an M3, an X5 and a 340i finished in Alpine White with numerous M Performance Parts. Furthermore, BMW iPerformance will make its SEMA debut with a BMW Individual 740e xDrive iPerformance finished in Individual Frozen Black Metallic and, of course, packed with M Performance Parts.
