An exclusive high-end used car dealership in Australia is selling three pristine low-mileage Toyota sedans as a collection with a price-tag of AU$45 000 (approximately R490 000). Included in this collection are a 1991 Corolla CSi, 1997 Camry CSi and a 2002 Avalon Sorrento.
As described by Classic Throttle Shop, the oldest model in the collection fall under the AE90 generation and boast the brand’s naturally aspirated 1,6-litre four-cylinder twin-cam engine bundled with a four-speed automatic transmission. Just 27 262 km have been covered by this unit. Key features on this unit include split folding rear seats, air-conditioning and power steering. The original cassette deck, factory fitted headlamp protectors and engine bay decals further preserve this example in its original authentic state.

Second in the collection is the Toyota XV20 Series 1 Camry which sports a larger 2,2-litre four-cylinder mill boasting a mileage count of 14 522 km. It uses a four-speed automatic as well. This unit still retains its original Orpheus Red metallic paint and features remote central locking and air-conditioning.

The final car is a product that was never sold in South Africa. The Toyota MCX10R mk2 sedan in Emerald Green metallic employs a more aspirational 3,0-litre V6 unit with a four-speed auto as well. Here, it stands with a mileage reading of 14 561 km. With this, the manufacturer claimed an output of 145 kW at 5 200 r/min and 284 N.m of torque at 4 400 r/min. Being a Sorrento trim, this example features cruise control, 15-inch alloy wheels, ABS, electric mirrors and windows, power steering, remote central locking, a Toyota CD player and front and side air-bags.

The dealership describes this listing as “An opportunity to own three mint-condition and landmark cars within the storied line-up of Australian made Toyota’s from an era never to be repeated.”
All three of these cars were produced at the brand’s Australian manufacturing plant which was shut down in 2017.
