Charlize Theron is set to play the movie’s villain in the new ‘Fast 8′.
After complaining that she’d lost jobs for being ‘pretty’, Charlize Theron celebrated her new role in Fast 8 at the WE Day in Los Angeles.
Charlize isn’t new to movies featuring fast cars and onscreen driving as she previously played roles in films like Mad Max, Fury Road and The Italian Job.
In previous interviews with Theron after the release of The Italian Job, she told Reddit Movies that she’d been recommended extra driving courses and various training:
"I remember my agent calling me and saying, -˜They want to customize a car for you so that it’s automatic.’ I was like, -˜What is this, like, when you’re a girl, everybody just automatically thinks you drive like crap?’ And by the way, they want you to do two weeks’ extra driving school, separate from the guys. And I was like: I’ll kick their butts."
The movie is set to release on 12 April 2017.
Furious 7, the previous installment, dominated the box office when it came out and made over a billion dollars worldwide in just seven days after its release.
Charlize Theron will be joining cast members, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriquez.
