This comprehensive update of the existing Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio takes inspiration from the car bearing the same name from the 1960s. The ErreErre Fuoriserie ‘retromod’ isn’t cheap either, with a cost of €196 207 excluding a donor car.
Enthusiasts hold dear to them the memories and automotive products of yesteryear where vehicles were simpler, racing was more visceral and the cost of petrol didn’t incite insurmountable anxiety at the pumps.
Italian coachbuilder ErreErre Fuoriserie have now introduced a ‘retromod’ of a Giulia Tipo 105, which bears with it the visual characteristics and design aesthetics while underneath it are all of the mechanical workings of the superlative Giulia Quadrifoglio high performance sedan.
The decision was made by ErreErre Fuoriserie to go against the grain of creating a restomod, where old models are restored and improved with modern technology and performance in favour of taking an existing platform and shaping the bodywork to represent a model of yesteryear.
Only 10 models of the ErreErre Fuoriserie Giulia Quadrifoglio will be made with a whopping price tag of €196 207, or approximately R3,3 million. The exterior bodywork has been extensively updated with a completely new front and rear end which includes bespoke lighting.

The front is undeniably based off of a Giulia Tipo 105, with a quad headlight setup and shaped bonnet signifying the model from 60 years ago. The side profile has also been updated, with the front fenders being widened and offset from the front doors. The roof silhouette has also changed from the standard Giulia and mimics that of its antecedent while the rear is another modern interpretation of the iconic 60s shape with protruding rectangular tail lights.
Sitting on all four corners are CNC billet-milled 19-inch multi hole wheels which evoke the classic Alfa Romeo phone dial rim that has been a part of the brand for over half a century. The inside remains unchanged although the coachbuilder can customise it at the customer’s request.
Head to head: BMW M4 CS vs. Alfa Romeo Giulia QV
Considering all of the new bodywork has been crafted out of carbon fibre, this ErreErre Fuoriserie Giulia Quadrifoglio may even be lighter than the model that it started out as. This means that the super sedan with its 2,9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 could be a tad quicker putting its 375 kW and 600 N.m to good use although this is speculation.
