Following several leaks over the past few weeks, BMW has finally revealed all the details of the facelifted 3 Series.
As can be seen in the pictures, changes to front and the rear of the car are extremely subtle. The front headlights can now be ordered as full LEDs, while the rear apron has been revised.
There is also a new range of alloy wheel designs, while customers can also pick from a new colour palette. The interior receives new chrome accents and materials, while the head-up display is updated by a full-colour version.
The engine range is made up of four turbocharged petrol engines and no less than seven turbodiesel variants. Power deliveries for these units range from 100 kW to 240 kW, and 85 kW to 230 kW.
However, the most powerful unit (as reported earlier) now comes in the shape of the 340i which develops 240 kW and 450 N.m. The 0-100 km/h acceleration figure is a claimed 5,1 seconds.
Another interesting addition is the 330e plug-in hybrid. Peak power is 185 kW, and maximum torque is 420 N.m. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6,3 seconds and an average consumption of only 2,1 litres per 100 km. The car has an electric-only range of 35 km.
The facelifted BMW 3 Series will become available in the second half of the year.
