Introduced in 2019, the SF90 Stradale was Ferrari’s first series production mid-engined plug-in hybrid supercar, available in both coupe (Stradale) and Spider variants.
The SF90 quickly gained acclaim for its sleek design, powerful engine, and advanced technology, becoming a favourite among car enthusiasts and collectors. Powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine with hybrid technology, the SF90 produces an impressive 735 kW. This hybrid setup includes two electric motors mounted on the front axle and a single motor in the transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The SF90’s advanced technology, such as hybrid-electric power and all-wheel drive, solidified its position as one of the most advanced and capable supercars on the market.
In addition to the standard SF90 Stradale, Ferrari recently introduced the SF90 XX – a limited-edition, track-focused version that further showcased the brand’s commitment to high performance and innovation. Despite the end of its production, the SF90’s legacy will endure, with existing models becoming even more valuable and sought-after by collectors.

Looking ahead, Ferrari is already working on the SF90’s successor, which is expected to debut around February 2025. While it is likely to be a mid-cycle refresh rather than an entirely new generation, the replacement has already been spotted in Maranello, hinting at what’s to come. The new model is expected to retain the overall shape of the SF90 but with a few cosmetic changes. It will likely continue to use the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain as the outgoing model.
