One has to take note when Ferrari awards its design school concept winner. After all, this design (as well as the runner ups) reveal what the company views as important and useful for upcoming Ferrari sports cars.
Called the “Manifesto”, the study was produced by the ISD-Rubika Valenciennes (International School of Design) in France.
There were many designs to choose from, but in the end the jury selected this futuristic concept. The jury does not consist of only Ferrari employees, but of several other people. These included collectors, designers and engineers, singer and car fanatic Jay Kay, racer Sebastian Vettel, Paolo Pininfarina and musician and collector Nick Mason to name a few.
What is probably the most notable feature of this study is that it is not so far removed from today’s hyper cars compared to previous studies.
It will be interesting to see if Ferrari will implement any of this study’s highlights in upcoming cars.
