The Matteo Bocelli Tempo soundtrack has been selected by Fiat for their communication campaign of the New 500. The son of Italian operatic tenor and multi-instrumentalist, Andrea Bocelli and his new single usher the New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli” in what reinforces the strong link between Fiat and music.
The collaboration of the two icons also expresses the excellence of Made in Italy to the rest of the world by combining stylish design, art and creativity. Olivier Francois, CEO of FIAT and CMO of Stellantis states: “Matteo Bocelli represents a new generation of Italian musical talent and his new song is exactly like our New 500: cheerful, elegant, timeless and rooted in Italian culture. I am delighted that “Tempo” becomes the soundtrack of the New 500.”
The Matteo Bocelli Tempo music video linked below shows an electric 500 feature in multiple occasions which demonstrates an aspect of La Dolce Vita that the Italian supermini allures buyers with. Along with interior and exterior shots of the 500 Cabrio, the model is filmed travelling through the picturesque and beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Matteo stated that “Tempo was one of the first songs he co-wrote in Italy last year and added: “It is such a fun, up-tempo, moving song. I really believe in it, and I hope it will be the soundtrack for this summer. I am very honoured FIAT chose ‘Tempo’ to be the soundtrack of their new campaign.”
Interestingly, the New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli” is the first electric city car to be equipped with JBL “Virtual Venues” tech which provides an unmatched audio experience. This technology to the supermini utilised the experience of Maestro Andrea Bocelli to make it bespoke to the model.
