Texas based tuner and vehicle manufacturer, Hennessey Special Vehicles, has just announced that all of its 1 355 kW Venom F5 hypercars have been sold. Following confirmed orders at this year’s Monterey Car week where a pair of customer-owned Venom F5s was displayed, order books for the 24-vehicle production run were closed.
The Hennessey Venom F5 is the most powerful hypercar ever made, with eye-watering power and torque figures. The 6,6-litre twin-turbocharged V8 motor produces 1 355 kW and a stonking 1 618 Nm.
“Selling out is just the beginning of the F5 journey for us, our customers, and our fans. Production has already begun, with customer deliveries starting this year and continuing through 2023. That’s not all, as we’ve saved a few more surprises for the F5, including the Track Pack enhancements, plus something else that’s literally out of this world!” said John Hennessey, CEO and founder of Hennessey Special Vehicles.
It’s no secret that the team at Hennessey love a good World Record, and so in keeping with this, one of their goals as they embark on the final phase of validation testing is for the Venom F5 to reach a top speed which surpasses 500 km/h.
At $2,1 million (R31 917 000) the Venom F5 isn’t what you’d call a bargain, however it is worth noting that the fact that Hennessey were rubbing shoulders with the likes of Bugatti, Lamborghini and Koenigsegg at The Quail is testament to the quality of the wares which they are peddling.
