The seven-seater Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace has arrived in South Africa, building on the utility space and passenger capacity of its standard-sized stablemate.
The Allspace adds 215 mm to the standard Tiguan’s overall length (110 mm to the wheelbase) to accommodate an extra row of seats at the rear, while boot space has increased by 115 litres to 700 litres with the all seats in place and 1 770 litres with the rear pews stowed.
A new 132 kW 2,0-litre TSI has been added to the range, filling the gap between the 110 kW 1,4 TSI Trendline and 162 kW 2,0 TSI Highline.
The Allspace models also receive additional standard equipment, with Trendline specification now including LED daytime running lights, the light and visibility package, chrome exhaust tips, front underbody protection and privacy windows.
The range-topping Highline adds keyless entry, an easy open boot sensor and App-Connect with voice control.
