A fresh report out of the United States has revealed that Ford’s global director of programme management has left the Blue Oval brand after being accused of “acting inappropriately”.
According to Automotive News, Prakash Patel, who was also the programme manager for the sixth-generation Mustang, left after being accused of inappropriate behaviour. The US publication adds that the nature of the behaviour “remains unclear”.
A Ford spokesperson, meanwhile, confirmed to Automotive News that Patel was no longer with the company, but declined to comment further.
In February 2018, Raj Nair, the then-president of Ford’s North American division, was dismissed for behaviour described as “inconsistent with the company’s code of conduct”. Kumar Galhotra was named as Nair’s successor.
