Non PlayStation owners dismayed by the enthralling looking Gran Turismo 7 game that launched not too long ago, Xbox & Bethesda Games have you covered with their latest hyperreal Forza Motorsport gameplay trailer ahead of its launch in 2023.
The last Motorsport title in the Forza franchise last launched in 2017. A significant amount has changed since then, not only with the automotive world but with technology too. Expectedly, the latest development in the gaming series is claimed to be the ‘the most technologically advanced racing game ever compliments of technology like raytracing.
Details on the newcomer are still scarce, as is the car list but we can expect it to boast the similar content and depth as its Gran Turismo 7 rival. What we do know is that the game will arrive before the middle of 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The reason that the latest instalment doesn’t have a number affixed to its end like its Forza Motorsport 7 predecessor, and all those that came before it, is because Turn10 considers the latest creation to be a full reboot of the series.
The latest video from the Xbox YouTube channel demonstrates the experience that the game itself should present its users. The hyperreal Forza Motorsport gameplay trailer does just that, making use of all in-game 4K footage that can only be distinguished from the real thing after a much closer look. This is thanks to the aforementioned raytracing which has the ability to replicate light patterns in a simulated environment, making reflections and shadows seem more dynamic and realistic.
Another cool feature of the game is the damage model which is now “reproduced down to the individual scratches on the bodywork.” It may not be particularly hyperreal, being able to continue racing after fatal mechanical damage, but the overall realism shown cosmetically on in the Hyperreal Forza Motorsport gameplay trailer is impressive.
