Remember that whacky two-seater road-legal hypercar that went up the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb? Well, Czinger is planning on a new four-seat derivative with several other models by the end of the decade.
The 3D printed American hypercar boss has made it public knowledge that Czinger will be producing several new models with the next one very close to debut. Kevin Czinger, founder of the California based company had his 21C creation go up the hill at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed and caused quite the stir for its impressive performance and unique looks.
He stated that: “In a few weeks we will present our next model, that will be a four-seater vehicle at a lower price. Higher volume, but still very exclusive. More volume by our standards.”
With the 21C costing in the region of $2 million, we can’t imagine that the newcomer will be priced to compete with a Toyota or Volkswagen but we can expect it to remain highly exclusive considering the novel creation from the automaker will be limited to only 80 units.
Czinger further added: “We want to make high-performance cars with lower volumes so we can always offer the latest developments, but we have a technology that can make completely new and different structures without investing in new casting and stamping tools, so we can make very different cars. By the end of the decade, in 2030, you’ll have six or seven different models, each of which will be very different and define a slightly different segment.”
This means that Czinger will presumably also offer more practical models that can substitute their volume intentions while enthusiasts with deep wallets will continue to enjoy the bespoke and limited run models like the 21C which is a 919 kW jet inspired hypercar.
