Ford South Africa is rolling out its new graduate purchase programme, which it says aims to make the brand’s range a bit more accessible.
The scheme provides “eligible graduates” with a 5% discount on the purchase price of a new Ford, plus a “preferential interest rate that will be lower than usual” for their credit profile when financing with Ford Credit.
Ford Credit SA managing director Steve Fraser said that he hoped the initiative would “assist graduates on their paths to make meaningful contributions to South African society”.
“As a company with a great sense of social responsibility, we know how important education is to the economic and social fabric of South Africa,” Fraser said.
So, what makes you eligible? Well, Ford says graduates (those who have obtained a bachelor’s, honour’s or master’s degree, national diploma, BTech or MTech degree) within the last five years, and who are a maximum of 30 years old at the time of the initial application, will qualify.
In addition, the vehicle must be registered and financed in the name of the applicant, with Ford SA also pointing out that the offer “cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions”.
