Good news for South African motorists as the Central Energy Fund (CEF) has provided updated mid-month fuel predictions last week. Initially, there was a small predicted decrease for petrol prices and a concerning 11-26c hike for diesel. However, recent data suggests a more favourable outlook for all fuel grades, hinting at a potentially good month for drivers. Petrol unleaded 93 will see a decrease of 5 cents per litre, while Petrol unleaded 95 will decrease by 9 cents per litre. Diesel 500 ppm (wholesale) is expected to drop by 16 cents per litre, and Diesel 50 ppm (wholesale) will decrease by 3 cents per litre.
