While Naamsa no longer releases individual model sales figures to the public, we have laid our hands on information confirming South Africa’s best-selling bakkies for November 2020.

After falling to an unfamiliar second place in October, the facelifted Toyota Hilux (2 913) returns to top spot for November, some 813 units ahead of the likewise locally built Ford Ranger (2 100).

The Nissan NP200, meanwhile, remains in third place with 1 254 units registered. The Isuzu D-Max (1 213) is breathing down the half-tonne bakkie's neck in fourth, with the Nissan NP300 Hardbody holding steady in fifth on 475 units.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-Up (282) retains sixth, with the Mahindra Pik Up (216) climbing one place to seventh and the Volkswagen Amarok (181) a single spot to eighth. The GWM Steed (160) thus drops two places to ninth, with the Mitsubishi Triton (32) returning to the table to grab the final spot.

That means there’s no space in the top ten for the likes of the Mahindra Bolero (18), Mazda BT-50 (10), Fiat Fullback (8) and Nissan Navara (3) in November. Check out October 2020’s figures for reference.
