The Chelsea Truck Company has put together a special Jeep Wrangler Sahara CJ400 Open Sky build with a number of unique design cues with the most notable being the retractable canvas roof.
Currently up for sale with a price tag of £63 999 (approximately R1,3 million), the Jeep Wrangler Sahara CJ400 Open Sky sports a Chelsea Truck carbon grille, custom fuel filler cap, spare wheel camera and 20-inch Mondial Black Alloy Wheels with deep tread off-road tyres. Extra attitude is provided by four 100 mm crosshair exhaust tailpipes.
Within the cabin, the Jeep Wrangler Sahara CJ400 Open Sky has been fitted with comfort front and rear seats in 3D modular red leather while the door armrests and centre glove compartment adopt a quilted finish. The pair of seats has also been given heating functionalities.
Cabin features as fitted by the factory include an 8,2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the Sky One canvas roof. The Jeep also benefits from deep tint sunscreen glass, keyless go, climate control, automatic LED headlamps and LED DRLs.
Under the bonnet you’ll find Jeep’s Hurricane turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder engine which delivers 200 kW and 400 N.m of torque to the 4×4 system via an eight-speed torque converter.
