Competing in the 65cc class, 11-year-old Kabelo Ledwaba will represent South Africa at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championships in Finland later this month alongside a Motorsport South Africa selected team.
From four wheels to two, competitive motorsport is where petrol-powered preferences are set aside. Cheering the Van Der Linde brothers on in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) and GT racing on the European circuit to the Binder brothers in the two-wheeled MotoGP championship, South Africa is truly well represented in the vast world of motorsport.

Later this month, Motorsport South Africa (MSA) will be sending a team of two-wheeled daredevils to compete in the FIM Junior Motocross World Championships in Finland and further fly the national flag with comprehensive representation across all forms of motorsport.
Competing in the Junior championships along with 13 other national riders is 11-year-old Kabelo Ledwaba, also known as Kabelo JNR. Having only picked up the competitive two-stroke machinery three years ago, Ledwaba has rapidly worked up the ladder of the theatrical form of motorsport with consistent national podium results and a brief stint in Europe yielding seventh overall for the French round of the European MX Championship.
The FIM Junior Motocross World Championship will host juniors from competing countries in 50cc, 65cc and 125cc classes. Prior to the World Championships that kick off on the 26th of August in Scandinavia, Kabelo Ledwaba will travel to Austria for another brief stint on the European circuit.
