Kegger reveals Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 319 Petronas Edition
When you need to transport your Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series to the Nürburgring, the biggest issue is finding a carrier that can match its intimidating presence. To resolve this, car transporter specialist Kegger has put together this special Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 319 Petronas Edition.

Bearing the colours used on the AMG Formula One car, the Sprinter has been fitted with an aerodynamic package which consists of a front bumper, custom sills and a rear diffuser with AMG-style exhaust tips. This has been complemented with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black with a green band.

To create the carrier, Kegger has used a fixed aluminium platform with a 3,5 tonne tow hook, custom lighting, a two piece aluminium tool box, electrically adjustable ramps, four transport belts and a glass panoramic mirror.

Revisions to the interior have also been made to continue the theme of performance. The dashboard, door panels and headlining make use of Alcantara with green contrast stitching while the steering wheel has been trimmed with smooth and perforated leather with green stitching. Comfort features include an audio package and heated seats.

Powering the carrier is Mercedes-Benz commercial’s 3,0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine pushing 140 kW to the wheels via an automatic transmission.

With this package celebrating Kegger’s 25th anniversary, only 25 examples will be built.
