The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has been given VR6 bulletproof protection and an increase in wheelbase by Klassen. The custom tuning firm has put this together for exclusive clientele who wish to remain secure without compromising luxury and comfort.
In order to accommodate the Rolls-Royce Cullinan 350 mm wheelbase increase, Klassen has stretched the brake line, propshaft, exhaust system and fuel feed line. It has also stretched optic cables and wiring, readjusted the ABS, ESP, ASR and SRS and adapted the stereo camera for the armoured glass.
Ballistic protection for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan consists of armoured steel applied to the perimeter, floor and roof. Blast-resistant construction has been applied to the doors while new hinges are used to accommodate the increased mass. Armoured glass is applied around the perimeter with integrated heating.
For the chassis, Klassen has given the SUV additional reinforced front and rear shock absorbers to reduce vehicle roll and stabilise balance. It has also fitted additional springs for the increased mass and added improved suspension arms.
Where equipment is concerned, the premium SUV boasts an intercommunication system, a fire extinguisher in the engine compartment and window raisers at all doors with two emergency exits.
Lastly, Klassen has provided the Rolls-Royce Cullinan with special reinforced 20-inch rims with heavy duty run-flat and bullet proof tyres.
