The path towards a fully electric automotive industry will be taken in baby steps. According to the Raging Bull breeder, its all-electric concept and pioneer of its anticipated “fourth range” is, but a mere stone’s throw away and will likely serve as a testament to what may be behind the horizon.
“Over these last 60 years, the carmaker has become a concrete reality in making one-off models that, each and every time, anticipate the technical and styling direction that the company was to take in the future to come. Tight-lipped as ever, information from the bull’s mouth is non-existent at the moment, but speculation suggests it might be founded on a chassis borrowed from its sister brands. What we do know is that this concept is the product of the firm’s commitment to its “Direzione Cor Tauri” program that was unveiled in 2021. According to Lamborghini’s aforementioned plans and aspirations, the entirety of its lineup will be electrified by the time we reach the tail-end of 2024. What will follow is the full-bodied actualisation of the all-electric concept that will debut at the Monterey Car Week scheduled to start from the 11th of August.
“Lamborghini’s electrification plan is a change of course that was made necessary by a radically changed context, in which we want to give our contribution by continuing to reduce environmental impact with tangible projects.” – Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini
