8 660 hours and 400 000 Lego pieces – that’s what it took a team of 15 designers, engineers and technicians to put together this life-sized replica of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.
The 2 200 kg ‘toy’ was created in a partnership between Lamborghini and the Lego Group as a one-off project of interest, following Lego Technic’s release of the 1:8 scale Sián last year.
The detailing of the full-sized model is certainly impressive, with the team having used 154 different Lego element types, of which 20 were moulded specifically for this project.
The body panels consist of an intricate fabric of unique interconnecting hexagonal Lego elements that pay homage to the six-sided shape that’s integral to the Italian supercar maker’s design language. This is also the first car from Lego to boast a paintbrush-effect UV colour coating.

The car has a cockpit too, featuring Lego-built racing seats as well as a brick-built steering wheel that incorporates the Lamborghini logo and Italian flag.
“Lamborghini is a dream for people around the world, and LEGO products provide creative inspiration for millions,” said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
“We’re delighted to have collaborated on this unique edition of the Lamborghini Sián, that will catch the imagination of Lamborghini and LEGO fans alike.”
