Mercedes-Benz has announced a raft of “sporty” accessories for its new A-Class, giving buyers the option of configuring their new hatchbacks “more individually and sportily”.
The automaker claims the products from its original parts programme all “meet the highest standards of quality and safety that Mercedes-Benz also places on all of its vehicles”.
The Stuttgart-based brand says the options list will include a number of new “original parts”. The catalogue will include carbon-style treatments for the side-mirror caps, B-pillar covers, front spoiler lip and side-skirts. In addition, a larger rear spoiler (in body colour) will be offered.
Furthermore, the automaker says “high-quality light-alloy wheels” will also be available from the original accessories programme, offered in various designs and ranging in size from 16 to 19 inches. These include 16-inch five-double-spoke items in vanadium silver and 17-inch five-spoke wheels in the same colour, as well as five-double-spoke black (with a high-sheen edge) alloys in 18- and 19-inch guises.
Revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show in February 2018, the fourth-generation A-Class hatch is scheduled to arrive in South Africa in the third quarter of 2018.
