Mercedes-Benz reveals X-Class ‘Element Edition’ model…

Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off its new X-Class Element Edition, a special model seemingly destined only for the United Kingdom.

The UK arm of the Stuttgart-based firm says it has released “a limited number” of Element Edition models, each based on the X250d 4Matic derivative in Progressive trim. That means urge comes from a 2,3-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel model, which sends its 140 kW and 450 N.m to all four corners.

Mercedes-Benz says the special-edition model boasts “enhanced specification”, bespoke graphics and a choice of two metallic and one solid paint finishes.

In addition to the equipment included in the Progressive trim level, the new Element Edition X250d 4Matic gains a black roof liner, the brand’s Comfort Pack (which includes Artico leather upholstery), 19-inch multi-spoke alloys, the Style Pack (which adds LED high-performance headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED taillamps, privacy glass, running boards and roof rails), special-edition livery, a load-bed liner (with the option for a roll cover) and a sports bar.

It is offered in Chisana White solid paint, or Diamond Silver and Kabara Black metallic hues.
