It’s not an iconic SUV unless some off-roading customiser creates a 6×6 conversion. This time around it’s the all-new Ford Bronco at the hands of Maxlider Motors. Seen here in render form, this isn’t the first Bronco that the Ford 4×4 specialist has converted, but it probably is the most extreme.
Maxlider Motors is no stranger to the Ford Bronco as it has been restomodding older generation models to award-winning standards but with the all-new model now hitting the streets, it believed that a conversion to take this 4×4 to the next level was in order.
The customisation firm hasn’t dropped any details surrounding the build but it has confirmed that it will be available as of 2022 and is already taking reservations with prices starting at $399 000 (approximately R5,8 million).
If it’s current offering of the 4×4 variant is anything to go by, we can assume that this 6×6 catalogue includes the premium performance 4-inch BDS Suspension lift kit with Fox Racing coil-over shocks with external reservoirs, 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tyres with a full size matching spare wheel and Maxlider fender flares which are coloured to match the vehicle.
At the premium trim, the 6×6 could inherit steel tubular side steps and a front bumper with LED off-road lights, body side stripes, Maxlider MX4 decals, embroidered Maxlider headrests and a unique serial numbered badge.
Optional upgrades could possibly include a steel rear bumper, spare tyre carrier attached to rear, brush guard, winch, performance exhaust, custom grille paint, cold air intake, custom interior package, roof rack (for hardtop models only) off road lights and power retractable side steps.
