Hyundai has released a fresh batch of teaser images of the next-generation Veloster ahead of its official unveiling at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
While the dark images previewing the new model’s exterior design suggest that its styling won’t be dramatically different to that of the current Veloster, the single interior shot (well, it’s more of a digital preview, really) shows an all-new cabin design.
The reworked facia features an asymmetrical layout (echoing the Veloster’s quirky door configuration, which will be retained by the new-generation model), with the centre stack seemingly angled towards the driver. A tablet-like infotainment screen is sited at the top of this stack, while there appear to be very few physical buttons on the dash.
There’s also a new hexagonal-shaped binnacle for the instrument cluster, along with a daring two-tone colour scheme.
We’ll learn more once the Veloster has been fully revealed in Detroit, with a high-performance version from Hyundai’s N division likely to follow.
