The all-new Mazda3 has touched down in South Africa and CARmag.co.za has obtained local pricing for the newcomer.
Starting at R359 900 for the (manual) 1,5-litre Active hatchback derivative, the entry-level sedan variant saves R2 900 on its hatch sibling. Upgrades to either Dynamic or Individual levels of spec, while still making use of this 88 kW/153 N.m SkyActiv-G engine, are also available at launch.
Sitting at the top of the new Mazda3 range (in both hatch and sedan body styles) are the Astina models. These top-spec models combine Mazda’s 2,0-litre SkyActiv-G petrol engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. The naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine offers 121 kW and 213 N.m of torque.
