As the respective international debuts of the Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi Triton have already taken, slowly we start to see the emergence of their bakkie-based SUVs. Following the leaked images of the Toyota Fortuner yesterday, today pictures of the upcoming Mitsubishi Pajero Sport have surfaced.
As is the case with the Fortuner, it seems Mitsubishi has given the SUV a totally different appearance compared to the upcoming Triton. From these blurry pictures it is clear the SUV is more modern than the outgoing model, even if we only judge the car by its exterior appearance.
According to WorldCarFans, the model’s official debut will take place on 1 August at the 2015 Bangkok International Grand Motor Show. We expect that the Pajero Sport will be launched in South Africa sometime next year, possibly after the introduction of the Triton bakkie.
