Following the silhouette teaser of the 2024 Land Cruiser , a new one has been released, giving a sneak peek at the SUV’s front end. The official unveiling of the next-generation Toyota Land Cruiser is set for the 1st of August 2023.
In the latest teaser image, the 2024 Land Cruiser’s nose is showcased alongside an FJ62 Land Cruiser, indicating that the design takes inspiration from the beloved older-generation SUV. The 2024 version of the Land Cruiser features blocky lights that resemble the dual lights of its predecessor.

The front end also boasts an egg-crate grille with the classic “TOYOTA” block lettering. The bumper continues the blocky and bevelled design, going even beyond what is seen in the Lexus GX, the vehicle on which it is based. This rugged design suggests that the Land Cruiser is geared towards off-road readiness.
A single photo of the new Land Cruiser’s cabin has been revealed, showcasing the rocker switch for shifting between high and low gear ranges, along with a middle setting, likely for high range with a locked differential. Assuming a return to its body-on-frame roots, the Land Cruiser is expected to ride on the new TNGA-F platform, the only modern body-on-frame option available at Toyota, also used in the latest Tundra, Tacoma, and Lexus LX and GX models.

While powertrain options remain uncertain, the possibility of the turbocharged, 3,4-litre V6 Hybrid Max system (found in the Tundra, Sequoia, and LX) is being considered. It is likely that power will be sent to all four wheels, given the vehicle’s name.
Additionally, a render provided by Kolesa.ru offers a glimpse of the new Land Cruiser’s design, featuring simple, unadorned flanks, with visually interesting fenders and a prominent roof rack. The windows appear to be large, adding to the overall appeal.
