In October 2025, BAIC’s South African arm announced the B30 will be priced between R550 000 and R700 000 in our market when it launches here in November 2025. Well, the B30 has finally made local landfall, with BAIC announcing how much its latest adventure-focused SUV offering will cost…and it starts at under R550 000.
2025 BAIC B30 Price in SA
The BAIC B30 lineup comprises four derivatives, priced from R519 000 to R689 900. Included with the asking price are a seven-year/90 000 km service plan and seven-year/200 000 km warranty, with hybrid models gaining an eight-year/150 000 km warranty for high-voltage components.

Available with the choice of two powertrain options, the B30 can be had with a 138 kW/305 N.m 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a hybrid powertrain that pairs the latter unit with either a single or dual electric-motor setup. Models equipped with the former and latter produce combined system outputs of 246 kW/550 N.m and 301 kW/685 N.m, respectively, with the dual motor derivative delivering power to the road via an all-wheel-drive system. According to the Beijing-based brand, the Magic Core Hybrid setup sips as little as 5.85 L/100 km on average, allowing for a combined driving range of up to 1 000 km.
The B30’s bodywork measures 4 730 mm in length and 1 910 mm wide, making it similar in size as the Jetour T1 and T2. The B30’s wheelbase spans 2 820 mm. The ground clearance is rated at 215 mm. The B30’s approach and departure angles are 25 and 30 degrees, respectively.
Stepping inside, BAIC’s latest local model offering features such items as 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment, replete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto screen mirroring, 10.25-inch digital instrumentation, wireless smartphone charging, and several other items.
