The Lamborghini Revuelto SV (Super Veloce) has arrived in South Africa. Billed as the most powerful Raging Bull to date, the Revuelto SV’s plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain — comprising a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 and three electric motors — produces a combined power output of 783 kW, a 36 kW increase over the “standard” Revuelto, with 1 425 N.m of torque delivered to the road via all four corners. The PHEV arrangement is coupled with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Thanks to the added outputs and weight saving measures, the (1 772 kg, claimed) Revuelto SV completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in a claimed 2.4 seconds, one-tenth of a second quicker than the non-SV variant. The top speed is rated at 348 km/h. The Revuelto SV is brought to a halt by Lamborghini’s CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic braking setup, which comprises 420 mm front/410 mm rear discs — the former and latter housed behind 20-inch front/21-inch rear 3D-Superlight Dromos wheels, respectively.

Serving as a reference to the founding year of the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand, only 1 963 examples will be built. Included with the package as standard are a three-year/unlimited km warranty and a three-year/100 000 km maintenance plan, the latter of which can be extended to five years at additional cost.
