The latest Porsche 911 Turbo S has been handed an upgrade by Techart, gaining a body kit, interior revisions, a bump in power and alterations to its suspension.
Giving the Stuttgart-based firm's supercar a fresh look is an aerokit which consists of a pair of side skirts, a roof spoiler, air blades for the side intakes, a rear diffuser, a rear wing and a front spoiler.
As for performance, the twin-turbo 3,8-litre flat-six in the Turbo S has been fitted with the Techart Techtronic powerkit, which increases the standard peak outputs of 478 kW and 800 N.m of torque to 522 kW and 900 N.m. This results in a revised (claimed) 0-100 km/h time of 2,6 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h. A sports exhaust system (with adjustable valves to control the sound) is also included.
Handling updates come courtesy of a set of sports springs, lowering the ride by 40 mm (the adjustable version allows the ride height to lowered by between 15 and 40 mm). There's also a set of 20-inch front and 21 inch rear Formula VI central-locking forged alloy wheels wrapped in 255/35 ZR20 front and 325/30 ZR21 rear Michelin Cup 2 tyres. Those who want to do without the central lock can opt for the Daytona II design which incorporates five lug nuts.
Customers who wish to refine the interior may select from a range of leather, wool and carbon-fibre finishes. A pair of illuminated carbon door sill plates, aluminium or carbon pedals, other new carbon parts and a catalogue of handcrafted Techart sports steering wheels are also on the menu.
