Included in the package, the G-Vintage is equipped with a bespoke body kit, which is made up of an array of carbon-fibre elements, and, notably, a set of ‘70s-style alloy wheels, each of which measures 20 inches in diameter. Nine “exclusive” paint finishes are available. The firm’s retro-inspired G-Wagon has been tuned to produce a whopping 592 kW and 1 020 N.m.

Although the company has yet to mention how these increases have influenced the standard model’s 0-100 km/h sprint time (4.5 seconds, claimed), Carlex Design has released their latest customised G’s top speed: 260 km/h (up 40 km/h on the standard model’s electronically governed maximum, or 20 km/h when specifying the correct package). In addition to these upgrades, Carlex Design has also handed the G-Vintage a raised and widened suspension setup.
