Although there was no show car at the Frankfurt Motor Show to illustrate Aston Martin’s next model, the DB10, which will feature in the upcoming James Bond movie, does give us a glimpse into Gaydon’s next supercar.
Aston Martin also didn’t release any technical details, but rumours suggest that both a naturally aspirated 6,0-litre, V12 engine will be used, as well as the new 4,0-litre, V8 twin-turbocharged unit from Mercedes-AMG. This means that power output in the model using this V8 engine can either be 340 kW/600 N.m or 375 kW/650 N.m.
Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer had the following to day: “The coming years will see Aston Martin transform not only its entire range of models but also its scale and global presence, and the new DB11 will be central to that success.”
The British company has confirmed that the new model will be released next year.
