The Audi A8 L Horch has finally been unveiled as a luxurious sedan offering exclusively for the Chinese market. The extended model features a number of high-end trimmings both inside and out to accentuate its level of presence.
Making the Audi A8 L Horch a more spacious saloon is an extension of 130 mm to the wheelbase which gives it an overall length of 5 450 mm. This extra space is added to the rear bench to accommodate passengers that may want to be chauffeured.
Enhancing its on-road presence is a new exclusive gray and green colour scheme and 20-inch polished wheels. Further exclusivity is provided by a set of Horch badging, Digital Matrix LED headlamps and OLED taillamps fitted as standard.
Contrary to the W12 rumours, the Audi A8 L Horch will in fact be powered by the brand’s turbopetrol 3,0-litre V6 unit that delivers 253 kW and 500 N.m of torque which is sent to all four wheels via the eight-speed torque converter.
Standard kit within the cabin consists of a Bang and Olufsen sound system, cabin fragrances and a negative ion air purification system. Both the front and rear seats are kitted out with eight massage functions while the rear bench benefits from a set of conclusive infotainment and control panels.
The Audi A8 L Horch is set to make its official debut at next month’s Guangzhou Auto Show. The model will launch with a Horch Founder Edition which will consist of some additional unique design cues.
