Audi Q8 handed extra TFSI-flavoured oomph (and bolder styling)…

ABT Sportsline has released details of its tuning package for the 3,0 TFSI engine used in the Audi Q8, while also handing Ingolstadt’s flagship SUV bolder styling.

Thanks to the fitment of the tuner’s ABT engine control unit, the petrol-powered V6 now generates 300 kW and 550 N.m (up from the stock engine’s 250 kW and 500 N.m). What effect this has on the SUV’s performance figures remains to be seen, though it’ll surely cut a couple of tenths from the claimed 0-100 km/h time of 5,9 seconds.

Interestingly, the company says the engine tuning package can also be applied to A6 and A7 derivatives with the same engine, resulting in the same new peak outputs.

ABT says it furthermore offers an upgrade for the Q8’s standard air suspension. In addition, the company sells “several” aerodynamic add-on components for the model, along with new wheel designs and bespoke interior treatments.

Of course, this isn’t the first Q8 on which ABT has laid its hands. Back in February, the company revealed its take on the TDI variant, too.
