Audi RS3 Sportback pushed to a whopping 346 kW (thanks to ABT)!

In standard guise, the Audi RS3 Sportback is already pretty darn potent. But now the power-hungry folks over at ABT Sportsline have released a new package for the hot hatch, hiking its peak output to a whopping 346 kW.

The German tuner has fitted its ABT Power S performance package, which includes a new intercooler and engine control unit. This adds 52 kW to the turbocharged 2,5-litre five-cylinder’s standard figure of 294 kW and pushes peak torque from 480 N.m to 540 N.m (interestingly, those figures are still short of the 368 kW/570 N.m package ABT previously offered for the model that didn’t feature the WLTP-required petrol particulate filter).

The RS3’s top speed also increases from 250 km/h to 285 km/h. The tuner has yet to reveal the impact the package has on the five-door model’s claimed 0-100 km/h sprint of 4,1 seconds.

Interestingly, the Kempten-based company also offers a slightly less extreme alternative, taking maximum power to 324 kW and peak twisting force to 520 N.m.

In addition, it says an optional ABT silencer system will soon be available for the RS3. The item is manufactured from stainless steel and culminates in four black chrome-plated tailpipes, each boasting a diameter of 102 mm.

While the vehicle pictured here rides on matte-black ABT ER-C 19-inch alloy wheels, the company also offers 20-inch GR and FR items and 19-inch ER-F forged wheels (the latter weighing just 8 kg per rim).

Furthermore, ABT offers new suspension springs, coilover suspension (as fitted to the pictured vehicle), a sport anti-roll bar kit and a brake upgrade kit. Inside, ABT will happily add swathes of carbon and leather, as well as puddle-lamp projectors (with the ABT logo).
