The 2.0-litre TDI features two balancer shafts to reduce internal friction and improve refinement. Delivering 110 kW and 340 N.m of torque between 1 750 and 3 000 r/min, it is paired with Audi’s seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. The 35 TDI achieves a combined fuel consumption of just 4.9L/100km and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 9.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 207 km/h.

In South Africa, the 35 TDI will be offered exclusively in Urban Edition and Black Edition trims, providing buyers with value-packed options. Audi’s strategy ensures that popular features come standard in both versions, simplifying the selection process for customers.
In Urban Editions guise, buyers receive features like 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass sunroof, keyless entry with a comfort key, a rear-view camera, electric tailgate, and Parking Aid Plus for added convenience and functionality. Further up in Black Edition, the model includes 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, black mirror housings, and a black styling package. Inside, the models feature a black headliner, heated, electrically adjustable sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a storage and luggage compartment package. Additional conveniences like keyless entry, rear-view camera, and an electric tailgate complete the package.
