Japanese tuner Wald International has released details on its “Black Bison” body kit for the Toyota Hilux, handing the double-cab bakkie a menacing new look.
Officially dubbed the “Sports Line Black Bison Edition”, the package includes new bumpers (front and rear), extra LED daytime running lights, chunky over fenders (adding some 55 mm of width on each side), a revised bonnet (complete with aggressively styled scoop) and new running boards.
Round back, you’ll find an interesting spoiler lip for the tailgate, while in profile you’ll notice a trio of pipes emerging ahead of the rear wheels on each side (seemingly inspired by Mercedes-AMG’s G63), allowing the 4,0-litre V6 petrol engine to breathe. From what we can tell, the six-cylinder powerplant retains its standard outputs of 175 kW and 376 N.m.
Wald International has also fitted 22-inch alloys (wrapped in all-terrain rubber) and says a roof attachment with additional lighting is on its to-do list.
