BMW M2 Competition handed under-the-skin upgrades … and crazy wrap!

By: CAR magazine

The folks over at JMS Fahrzeugteile GmbH have created an interesting package for the BMW M2 Competition, focusing on track performance over power figures.

Featuring products from a number of other brands, this build includes a new set of wheels, tuned suspension, a beefier exhaust system and a head-turning body wrap.

Creating the bright design is a silk matte wrap sourced from Schwabenfolia. This orange-and-black scheme is set off against 20-inch Barracuda Racing Ultralight alloy wheels wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 6 tyres.

Adding more athleticism to the chassis is a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension, which lowers the ride by 30 mm at the front and 35 mm at the rear. This system also allows for separate adjustments to the compression and rebound damping so that owners can tailor it to suit their needs.

While the S55 twin-turbocharged 3,0-litre straight-six engine remains untouched (despite that “Race Chip” decal on the door), a sports exhaust system from Eisenmann has been installed to provide added aural attitude.
