BMW tuning specialist AC Schnitzer has turned its attention to the BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé, handing it extra power and updates to the suspension, aerodynamics and interior.
With a twin-turbo 4,4-litre V8 at the helm, AC Schnitzer has applied a plug-and-play engine control unit which increases peak outputs from the standard 460 kW and 750 N.m of torque to 530 kW and 850 N.m.
The M8 Gran Coupé’s dynamic handling characteristics have been altered thanks to the fitment of a suspension spring kit, which lowers the front axle by 30 mm and rear by 20 mm.
Exterior design changes are subtle and include a front splitter, rear spoiler, carbon side skirts and a set of 21-inch AC3 Evo forged alloy wheels (the latter can be finished in a choice of four colours). These wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
In the cabin, AC Schitzer offers a set of branded steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a key holder and an aluminium pedal set.
