BMW X7 handed bold new widebody kit courtesy of Lumma Design!

At the end of 2019, Lumma Design previewed its widebody kit for the BMW X7. Now, the final product is here, and while it’s a bit more subtle than the initial design, it still adds a yet more aggression to the Bavarian firm’s flagship SUV.

The package includes extended wheel arches as well as a new apron up front along with two fresh spoilers (one mounted on the roof and the other just below the rear screen) and a diffuser at the rear. A set of Lumma CLR 24-inch RS alloy wheels wrapped in low-profile performance tyres is also part of the kit.

The German tuner says any revisions made to the interior will be specific to the customer’s preferences. Items on offer include an aluminium pedal set, embroidered carpets and full leather upholstery.

In the initial design plan, Lumma made note of an increased power output of 500 kW for the twin-turbocharged 4,4-litre V8 (including the fitment of a stainless steel exhaust system) but it appears this package is not yet on offer.

The kit, which excludes the interior revisions, costs €16 750 (approximately R350 000), including installation and painting.
